BOOKINGS

Bookings have to be required trought our web site, for a rental period of 4 days at least.

Places for Pick Up and Return vehicles are located in airports and hotels of the cities included in “Places for Pick Up and Return vehicles”. Huellas al Sur could apply additional charges according the “Drop Off” table in the “Rates” menu.

Once you complete and send your reservation application, Huellas al Sur will send you the confirmated quote of services, the payment procedures, Terms and Conditions and due dates.

After 7 days you made the reservation, you have to pay the 30% of the total amount to guarantee the booking, otherwise the booking will be cancelled. Remember the charges of transfer money is assumed by the customer.

The balance have to be paid 45 days prior the pick-up day.

When Huellas al Sur, will send you a confirmation by email when the payment is received.

Huellas al sur remain the following amounts in case of cancellation:

- Until 90 days previous the pick-up day: 10% of the total amount of the rental required.
- Until 31 days prior the pick-up day: 50% of the total amount of the rental.
- Less than 31 days previous the pick up day: 100% of the total amount of the rental required.

RATES

Rates include:
- 250 km. Free per day: for rental periods from 4 to 30 days or
- unlimited km: for rental periods more than 30 days.
- Basic Insurance
- VAT
- Bed linen and towels
- Electrical Kit (110-220 converter)
- Additional Spare Wheel
- Tourist guide books

PICK UP

The vehicle will be delivered in the specified booking day and time. In case the hotel doesn’t have a convenient parking, Huellas al Sur will give you the transfer to the place of delivery.

The vehicle conditions and the additional equipment delivery will be settled in the Rental Agreement.
A blank Credit Card form have to be signed as guarantee for the deductible on Rutas al Sur insurance amount.

The Rental agreement will be signed and the keys, Blue Card, insurance papers, tourist guides and vehicle and camper manual will be given.

RETURN

The vehicle have to be returned in the specified day, time and place detailed in the booking confirmation and Rental agreement, and in the same Condition as it was at the commencement of the rental period.
If the previous procedure is not done Huellas al Sur will apply additional charges according “Charges for delays in return the vehicle”.

The condition of the vehicle and the equipment returned will be settled in the Rental agreement.The renter, is the responsible of the documents given at the pick-up, and is responsible of the cost if they are loosed.

In case of necessity Huellas al Sur will give you a transfer to the place where the vehicle will be delivery.

Each vehicle is scheduled with enough time between services. Meantime it has an exhaustive mechanical control which ensure the properly function of all their systems.

Each vehicle is delivery with full fuel tank, water and gas cylinder The vehicle has to be returned in the same conditions.
In case there were dirty in the vehicle, the wash charge will be applied.

SMOKE

Is forbidden smoke inside Huellas al Sur vehicles.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRING ALONG THE RENTAL PERIOD

All the Huellas al Sur vehicles are safety and they are delivery in excellent conditions.
Repairings and Maintenance along your trip have to be done in the maintenance centres authorized by Huellas al Sur.
The cost of repairings will be reimburse at the end of your trip with the exemption of repairings or damages caused by the customer, under the condition that he present all the bills for the maintenance or repairing costs authorized along his rental period.
Please control the oil, cool liquid and wheel pressure, frequently.

Vehicle Substitution

In case of maintenance or repairing problems Huellas al Sur will take the commitment to one of the following actions:

1- Try to resolve the problem at the same place it happens.
2- Analize the possibility to change the vehicle for other similar. This action is subject to availabilities according previous bookings
3- A similar or different vehicle will be given for the same value that you paid to our company.

While this duties are done, Huellas al Sur take the cost of hotel accommodation of the customer.

If you want to visit other border countries, you have to notify us in the booking application. This service has an additional charge. See “Rates” section, Visit to border countries.
